Timber-steel hybrid truss

Hybrid construction comprised of the two materials, timber and steel, combines the properties of the individual materials to achieve a more powerful load bearing structure. Hybrid trusses are statically calculated to exacting standards and are optimally adapted to the load case of the buildings.

The advantages of a hybrid solution include support–free load bearing spans exceeding 60 metres, and filigree support systems, which accommodate electrical and HVAC installation.
